Our beautiful acoustic guitar room is easily my most favourite place to spend time inside Concept Music.
The look, the feel, the intimacy… even the smell! First in the morning, after the room has been closed up overnight, the smell of the rosewood, spruce and the cedar is really intoxicating… it’s awesome!
My goal in creating a really special place for people to try acoustic guitars was that there would be somewhere in the shop that felt comfortable and private so that you can really relax & enjoy feeling & listening to the guitars – something that is impossible to find in most shops. I really feel like that our acoustic room lets you do that. We have completely removed the pressure of having other people listening to you play & of having sales people hovering… that is absent in there & you can get totally lost in the moment which is the way it should be when you’re looking for a new guitar!
Acoustic players love spending time in there too… & that’s not just for of the room, but because of all the beautiful guitars we have on display for you to try. I get excited about that too as the selection we have is just world class with so many lovely guitars by Maton, Martin & Taylor in particular.
There’s great diversity in the range. As well as the many professional players that hang out here at Concept Music, we love helping people who are just getting started on their guitar journey & we understand that a music shop can be a daunting place to walk into so don’t worry, we understand that & we’re here to help you even if you’ve never played before. That’s what we do & we’ve all been there before.
The Acoustic room is a great example of our overall customer service ethos. At Concept Music you won’t get pushed into buying something you don't want or can't afford. Concept will give you plenty of information and then help you choose the best acoustic guitar for your needs no matter what your budget.
