Eastman PCH1-D Solid Top Acoustic Guitar
Word's out, Eastman Guitars are making them like they should be made. We've been really impressed with the latest Eastman acoustic guitars. They are amazing value, the workmanship is great and the sound is rich and full. The Eastman PCH1-D is a Solid Top Dreadnought with a great feeling open pore finish that is a pleasure to play.
- Bound Solid Sitka Spruce Top / X-Braced
- Bound Layered Sapele Back and Sides
- Rosewood fretboard / 12" radius Jescar-FW43080 frets
- Dual acting Truss rod
- Open Pore finish
- Strung with D'Addario .012-.053 #EXP16

Really well built and amazing value for money big sounding dreadnaught.
This guitar provides plenty of volume and surprising tone. I was surprised at how easy it is to play and the overall quality of build.
The only thing I was somewhat put off by was that the fretboard appeared to be stained with some kind of stain that came off on my fingers when I played. I thought it might just be the oil on the strings, hwich sometimes can be a thing, but after oiling the fretboard even more stain rubbed off. It will be fine after a bit of playing and more lemon oil, just something to be aware of.
One star off for the fret board staining experience.
Another solid guitar that I have bought from Concept. The usual friendly no pressure service from the team.
On to the guitar.... all the good things that you hear about Eastman are absolutely true. Probably the best solid SS top and laminated B&S I have played. Seriously, go and try out Eastman guitars and see for yourself. Absolutely zero issues with this guitar. Its a real sonic cannon that I'm looking forward lugging around on road trips.
