A BIG Congratulations to Concept Music Staffer and alternative singer-songwriter Jacob Diamond who has just taken out first place in WA's premier band competition 'The Big Splash 2015’! Jacob was selected from four finalists by a panel of esteemed industry judges on the 14th of August at the Rosemount Hotel, receiving a substantial cash prize which Jacob plans to put towards the recording of his debut album due for release in early 2016. Jacob was of course using his Concept-purchased Custom Shop '64 Jazzmaster through his Fender Blues Deluxe on the night of the final, which we’d like to think may have helped get him over the line!
Still on Staff News, Concept Music will be well represented at this year’s WAM Awards night as, amazingly, we have 4 of our team nominated in a number of different categories.

• Lee Jones - Best guitarist
• Alex Canion - Best Bassist
• Jacob Diamond - Best Male Vocalist/Best Folk Act/Most Popular New Act
